Description
Legendary British soccer team Liverpool FC and their partner Standard Chartered developed their ‘Play On’ campaign to focus on gender equality in sports. The aim was to raise awareness of the challenges young girls face to continue playing sport throughout adolescence, and to empower and inspire them to carry on. Across multiple spots, several famous Liverpool FC players took part in the films, helping to amass over 70 million completed video views online.
Creating an original music score to accompany multiple video spots, highlighting the emotional weight of the campaign.

Collective member Ollie Howell is a media composer, drummer and producer.
As a composer for film and television, Ollie has written music for many multi-award-winning films, international tv series and commercials. He has also collaborated with several other eminent film composers on BAFTA nominated and Golden Globe winning projects. Recent scoring projects include feature documentary ‘Cassius X: Becoming Ali’, the upcoming feature thriller ‘Kiss Of The Con Queen’, Sky Originals’ ‘Breaking Point’, and co-scoring the acclaimed Sky Documentary’s multi-award-nominated ‘Forced Out’. Ollie is also a frequent collaborator with larger music teams on productions such as Ridley Scott’s Napoleon (starring Joaquin Phoenix), British spy thriller series ’The Ipcress File’, David Attenborough’s ‘The Green Planet’, Golden Globe-winning Kevin McDonald feature ‘The Mauritanian’ and feature documentary ‘Body Parts’, nominated for Outstanding Music Composition in the 44th News and Documentary Emmys.
He has also written music for international commercial campaigns such as Sky Tv, Porsche, Arla, Illamsaqua and Liverpool Football Club.
As a performing artist, both under his own name and as a member of the ambient-electronic group Collisions, Ollie’s live shows and studio recordings impress audiences with a punchy blend of creativity, stunning improvisation and critically acclaimed compositions. Legendary producer and film composer Quincy Jones calls him ‘an unbelievable drummer. So creative I couldn’t believe it… he really is a 360-degree beautiful young cat.’
Ollie is a multi-faceted and talented artist, touring internationally, producing artists and writing bespoke music for Film, TV, commericals and video games.
